Textbook Madness!

I went and got my psychology book yesterday, and I swear that I am going to fall over this semester. It is so huge that I can just barely carry it by itself. It is ridiculously large. Good thing that I have that class first and that I have a locker to put it in, otherwise I think that I would have to build up muscle to carry it, or put it in the car when I am done. My geography class has two text books of some size and my spanish books match in size. Th eonly small books I have are for mythology and I only have one of them. I suppose that I will live, but we will see.

I'm the king of New York!
We followed the goddess though we weren’t sure of what we thought of her. But even as we followed her, I felt this gnawing presence. I didn’t know what it was, but it was close.
Gebri didn’t think much of living. The cave was atrocious, not a clean spot in sight.
“Griffen a light,” Kalob said. Griffen followed behind the goddess leading us with his light. Deep within the cave we found Gebri muttering spells over the obcedian block. A light shot out of the goddess’s hand and hit Gebri’s shoulder.
“I think that I’ll take that,” the goddess said.
“My lady,” Gebri said, almost pleasantly, as he stood up, “One such as yourself must have better manners then to throw a gentleman against the wall,”
“You are not a gentleman father. You broke my mother’s heart with your greediness. Now you want to destroy everything I know. I can’t let you do that,” the goddess held her hand up to silence me.
“Yes a lady would be kind, but as you see, I am a goddess and we are not always ladies. You have someone who should have been destroyed a long time ago. If you hand him over, you will be let go,”
Gebri spat, “ You don’t think I know that as soon as you killed my master I will die too? Oh I have thought of ways to do this so that I can have all the power, but with a binding spell it won’t work,”
“Does it really matter?” the goddess said flicking a fire ball at him. But Gebri ducked behind a rock.
“Once, my master returns you will think twice before you do that,”

“Look,” said Mathyus. The Obcedian block was growing. A head began to appear with a bulbous nose.
“My master returns,” Gebri cackled. The goddess created an energy force field to keep Garados from becoming human.
“You must rebind him to the block before the force field is gone,” the goddess said to us. “Hurry! I can only hold it so long,”
WE stood in a pentagon around the block. Concentrating we lit up our crystals and created a light trail, connecting our crystals with love and light. But as hard as we tried, nothing wold keep Garados in the block. An arm and then the left foot grew out of block.
“We’ve got to try hard,” Jess said. But Garados’s life force overtook us. There was a crack and I was repelled backwards, hitting my head against a rock. I blacked out.

PART 6

“Where am I?” I mumbled. “ What the hell happened? Where is Garados?” I said nearly shouting.
“I’m right here,” the voice sent shivers up my spine. My hairs stood on end. “You should never try a binding spell when only part of you magic is intact,” Garados said smoothly. I shook my head groggily. As I opened my eyes, I saw the inside of the cave. Garados stooped in front of me. I tried to tear him from limb to limb, but my body wouldn’t move.
“I do love having power. Tell me Kel how does it feel to lose,” I spat at him. “ Fine, act like an animal. It will only keep you here longer,” Garados left. Once gone, the magical restraints were lifted. I slid to the floor of the cave.
My head hurt. I had gouges cut out of my arms and legs. My back was scrapped from the rocks when I slid down, and I think that I broke a finger or two. But even though I was wounded, I managed to survey my surroundings.
Garados left me where I fell. The boys and the goddess had disappeared. But Gebri was still around, watching me from another cavern entrance. Apparently that wasn’t good enough because he had to come over and harass me with his taunts.
“I told you that failure was in your future. You are just like you mother Kel. simply irresistible, but not strong enough,” he said grabbing my chin until I yanked away. “ She tried to so the same thing to my master long ago, but he escaped. My master is more powerful than the other wizards that she eradicated,”
“How you dare talk about my mother like that,” I went to shove hi over, but he just flicked his finger and I was paralyzed. After awhile he let me down. This time I would use my power. I reached down to grasp the crystal but it wasn’t there. Gebri cackled gleefully.

“No crystal for you,” and he left, his laughter echoing off the walls. I was left seething in my anger.
*
I was at the point where I couldn’t feel the presence of my friends or my mother. But I did feel a newer one. It was a different one then I ever felt before.
“You have more power then your mother,” I heard in my head. “But it looks as if you are caught Kel, daughter of angel Lessionia,”
“Who are you?” I asked in my head.
“Just someone who has your best interests in mind,” he replied.
“A name would be nicer,”
“Informality is much better though. Now if I help you escape, you must do something for me,”
“If I have to give you Garados for it, forget it,”
“Ah, so you’ve heard it from Lessionia?”
“No, it is running through your head. ‘Does she know about Lesionia and I? The attack on the house? My plans for Garados?’”
“You are definitely stronger than your mother,”
“Now if you don’t mind, I would like you to leave my brain. I will think of a way to escape on my own,”
“I’m sure you will,” and then he was gone.
“Oh, Gebri,” I called. His head popped up from behind a rock. “Someone know where you are,” I taunted.
“How do you know?” he asked picking up the front of my shirt.
“That’s enough Gebri,” said Garados after Gebri slapped me for not answering. “If she is not ready to tell, we will just give her some time,” said Garados but much too smoothly. He walked over to the far side of the cave. He made the walls clear. a deep pit with no bottom was visible, and my friends were about to plummet down through,”
My words spilt out so fast that I could barely understand them.
“I don’t know who he was, but he knew my mother and he wants you Garados,”
“Well that buys you and your friends some time,”
“Why aren't they awake?”
“Once they were asleep it was much easier to take their crystals. Now that I have five, all of you can watch me change the world,”
“You monster!” I screamed. I pulled on the magical bonds holding me. “ I will not let you do that!” Slowly I moved forward.
“Impossible! You shouldn’t be able to move at all,” Grinding my teeth, i continued to push forward. I thought about all the people I loved; my Mother, Grandfather, Jess, Griffen, Mathyus, Kalob, and yes Horitori too. I wasn’t going to just let them die. My heart over flowed with love and light that I began to overcome Garados’s magic.
“This should be impossible! It’s inconceivable! No one could have the power to do this except....,” Garados said astonished.
In a flash my mother showed up. “Yes Garados, my daughter, Kel, is the one of the prophecy. The one of angel, elf, and man. One who has the power to eradicate all evil. Your time has come,”
I closed my eyes and in that instance, I saw myself when I was little. It was at Grandfather’s house. My mother and father were chasing me around the yard. Grandma was in the garden picking strawberries. I ran behind her skirts.
“You can’t get me now,” I giggled. My father came at me, picking me up. He twirled around once. I had my hands outstretched. I giggled some more. My father brought me down. I hugged him, my arms around his neck.
“I love you daddy,”
“ I love you daddy,” tears rolled down my face as I gave one more push. Garados was gone.
Falling to my knees, I hit the floor. “Father,” I called. Gebri laid sprawled on the floor. He clutched his chest. My mother hovered over him. He motioned for me.
“Lessionia, I never meant to hurt you. Garados’s hold was so strong, I...,”
“Shhh,” my mother said kissing him after. “It doesn’t matter now. Her tears fell to his chest.
“My baby girl,” my father said, taking hold of my hand. “ I never stopped thinking about you. Now you’re all grown up and beautiful,”
“I love you daddy,” he closed his eyes and I cried.
*
Part of me died that night in the cave. I never realized that my mother had left my side to help my friends. All I could do was sob for the father that I never had. Garados was gone, but nothing made since anymore.
I drifted on a plane of existence, never in one for any length of time. Nothing kept me in place. Briefly I would see my friends in and out of the plane, but soon they disappeared and only my mother was left.
I had a dream about her and that a man came to here offering her the ability to go back heaven, but she declined saying that she would stay on earth. That same man came to me. He presence was the exact same presence as in the cave.
“I realized that I was wrong for harming you and your mother. I did not believe that such a prophecy existed,”
“I forgive you,” I whispered. He came out of the shadows of my dreams. I saw his face, as a high angel; Caron. He bowed at me, right arm clenched in a fist over his heart. He took to the sky and disappeared.
*

“Kel,” someone whispered. My eyelids fluttered open to see Jess’s radiant face.
“Jess,” he laid down next to me. We didn’t say anything at first, but his arms around me made me feel secure. I snuggled up next to him knowing that everything was okay and a kiss made my hear realize that too.

PART 5

Magic always leavevs a trail no matter what. It was really easy finding my father because he liked using his power a lot. He was staying in a cave not far from Garados’s destroyed castle. So now all we had to do was to go back to the mainland.
“Mother, are you coming back with us?” I asked her as we got ready to fly.
“I wish I could Kel, but the angelic power I had to use to escape has worn me thin, not to mention the power I had to use to help you. Besides, you don’t need me. The five of you are stronger than the last guardians. But my love will go with you,”
She held out her arms and I squeezed her tight. When we at last stood apart, she smiled with the warmth that I always knew.
The five of us took to the sir. Griffen leading the way. Our clothes took form of the warrior. My mother flew next to us for a way.
“Bet you can’t do this,” she said, and with the last bit of energy that she had she twisted and looped in the air and then sped up dropping thirty feet closer to the water before she tightened her turn and zig zagged up towards us, coming to a short stop next to me again. No matter how hard I tried, I couldn’t manage the sharpe turns.
“You need to fly more,” she shouted as she dropped out behind us, going under a cloud.
Touch down was a success. From the sky we could see the ruins of Garados’s castle. From there we landed close by.
It was then that I felt a vibrating in the back of my breeches. It was the golden disc. Alexandra the Huntress krept out of the edge of the rubble.
Griffen stiffened at the sight of her. Alexandra’s eyes were on fire.
“Did you acomplish your mission Griffen?”
“He’s no longer your pet Huntress,” I spat as I stepped between them.
‘I suppose that he listens to you now,” I glared at her. “Well,” she said talking over my head, “If he knows what’s good for him, he will obey you. Tell him to give me the golden disc,”
“Why should I?”
“Why does it matter. You don’t even know what that disc does,” she retorted.
“But if you, Alexandra want it so bad, then it must be worth something,”
“If he doesn’t give it to me, then I will keep my promise,” Griffen hastily came forward.
“Give it to her Kel,” Alexandra smiled smugly.
“But Griffen,”
“Kel, if you love something, you will do everything to protect it,” he looked at me, his eyes pleading. I gave him the disc.
“Thankyou,” said Alexandra.
She climbed the rubble of Garados’s castle. Holding the disc high, she closed her eyes. Warm light rushed down fro the heavens, engulfing her with light. Swirls of blue and green moved round and round. The Huntress disapeard and the goddess before us.
“Why the ruse?” asked Kalob. “We would have jsut given it to you,” he said bluntly. Slowly the half transparent goddess came down the rubble.
“It was to test your love and trust for each other as well as other people. Not to mention that I can’t change back into the goddess without the disc. Garados is a wizard but also a theif and a trickster. The golden disc gives me extra power to transform me into a human. But without it I can’t change back. Garados, cunningly stole it form me in hopes of keeping me away. But he was fool enough to hid it in plain sight where a farmer found it. Consequently when Garados found the farmer, he had to burn the whole village. Garados cannot enter a holy temple,” Her voice, a laugh echoed. “I am still annoyed at how foolish he is, though it is funny,” She closed her eyes for amoment. “Genri has Garados. He is not far from here. I suggest that we go before it is to late,”

I slept for many days. Without the magic, my body healed much slower. I woke up four days later with my mother sitting next to me, which lead me into another fit of tears..She held me tight.
“It’s not your fault love,” she said stroaking my hair. I clung to her as never before. I felt so valnurable without the crystal. It had become my life.
“what will we do mother. Without the power of all five of the crystals, we are not match against Gebri and Garados,”
“You will find a way Kel,” she said.
“I’m so afraid,” my shoulder shuddered.
“You have every right to be. They are both very powerful wizards, but you have light and love on your side. You will win,”
“I still don’t know how?”
“Be patient. In time it will come to you,” then she left me and I fell back into a deep sleep.
I woke again a few days leter. Someone had drew back the curtains to let the sunshine in. I sat up looking out the window. THe guys were out playing a ball game.
“Are you hungry?” asked my Granfather as I walked in. I let him sit down on the edge of the bed. “They’re pretty good at that game,”
“Yes,”
“Hey you’re better,” said Mathyus as he and the other came in through the door.
“I’ll be back for the dishes,” said Grandfather.
“How are you feeling?” asked Jess as he came and sat down next to me. He gave me a side squeeze.

“ Like all of the energ has been saped out of me,” I touched the dull crystal on my chain.
“There has to be a way to get the powers back,” Griffen said.
“Mother said that the idea would come if I waited,”
“Do we have the time?” asked Kalob.
“The only way the block can be opened is with our crystals. Gebri needs all of them for it to work,” Griffen said.
“Let us hope he doesn’t come back for them,” I said solomly.
I spent the day wandering the hills of the island searching for an answer to my problems, but nothing came. I thought that maybe if I looked into my soul I would find the answer. But when I did, I found myself only at the mountain inside my soul. Was my soul trying to tell me something? Was the answer in the mountains?
So I stayed there pondering over why my soul told me to come here.
All night I watching mountains. Then in morning, the sun came out. Sitting up and streching, trying to get the kink out of my neck from sleeping outside, I saw the rays peaking through the clouds. They hit the farthest mountain top which in turn reflected off the other mountains. Could this be what my soul was trying to tell me? Light could defeat the evil. That had to be it.
Walking down the mountain, I began thinking about how the light streamed through the mountains like that.
“The mountains are beautiful in the morning,” said a voice which startled me out of my deep thought.
“Oh Grandfather you startled me,”
“So sorry. What were you doing here so early?”
“My soul told me to go to the top of the mountain and I would find out how to defeat the evil,”
“And did you?”
“Yes, the light trail,”
“Oh you saw the reflecting llight off the mirrors. That is a wonderful sight,”
“If I can make a light trail like this one, I may be able to vanquish the evil,”
“I hope you succeed Kel,” We continued down the mountain path to Grandfather’s house.
I was now ready to go after my father.
***
“Did you find what you were looking for?” my mother asked me that night.
“I need to make a light trail to defeat Garados, but I still don’t quite know how to make a light trail,”

“You saw the mirrors on the mountains making the path,”
“Yes,”
“That light path is physical. I think that what you are looking for is more spiritual than physical, something that comes from all of your hearts,”
“But how?”
“You all have love for someone or something. Light comes out of that love. When you consentrate all of your magic, together you make a light trail,”
“We have to go after Garados together to be able to create this trail,”
“Yes,”
“But my magic? It still hasn’t come back,”
“Go back to the mountain once more. Listen to your heart,” and she vanished into a ball of light,”
***
“Even if we have the light trail, it doesn’t help us find Garados,” Kalob said exasperated. He and the others were arguing the plans as we went up to the mountain. They would always ask for my advice, but I shrugged them off. I was still in deep thought. I wanted quiet. I didn’t care about Garados right now.
“Guys,” I said trying to get their attention, “Guys,” a bit louder, “Guys!” I shouted. All head turned towards me. “Can you just be quiet for a moment,” I continued to walk up the mountain. No one spoke.
The air up here is so fresh and I drank it all up. I found a place to sit and meditate. I had completely forgotten about the boys.
“Where has my magic gone?” I asked my soul.
“Where do you think?” it asked.
“My father has it,”
“That answer seems to be the most logical, but are you sure?”
“Where else could it go?”
“Magic cannot be taken from someone. Their powers may be borrowed for awhile, or a spell put on them suppressing that power, but it is not gone. But what is magic? Where does it come from?”
“It comes from my heart, from my love,”
“As long as you are still using that love, you have your magic. You lost your hope when you found out abot your father. That dispare made you feel as if you lost your power,”
“My powers were being held down with my sadness?”
“I think if you find out why you are upset your powers would reamerge,” my soul said.

A door sprung up. A gold plate said THE UPSETTING ROOM. I opened it to find shelves pilled up with memories of something being upsettinf to me. Some of the labels had the word ‘passed’ written over them. At the very end of the hall, the memory of my father and mother being taken and feeling defeated kept my heart heavy.
“Al least Garados can’t be released. I should be happy about that. My heart lightened when I finally realized that to be true. People were not being hurt by him and that brought me great joy. The memory glowed orange and the word ‘passed’ appeared on the memory. A tingle crept up my arm and into my heart. I could feel the crystal tugging at my heart again. I felt some of that magical connection. It was then that I knew that I didn’t fail my mother. I had captured Garados which is what she wanted. I knew that she lived and my guilt for not staying and helping her fight was lifted as well. Most of my power returned, but I still coldn’t shake the uneasiness that I felt towards my father. But I knew that I was still weak. My heart hadn’t healed all the way.
“Kel you are glowing,” Mathyus said when I came back.
“Part of my power has returned,”

PART 4

Lessionia was clever. She knew that he would find her. It was inevitable. He wanted Garados, but she hadn’t succeeded in capturing him. Garados skuled away leaving no trail or clues for Lessionia to find. Lessionia gave up after searching for Forty years. That was when she found Gebri in the woods.
But now with the dogs going tense and growling, she knew that it was too late. She had to get Kel and Jess out.
He came himself, but he stood on the hilltop watching his minionsdo the dirty work. The trees shaded his face so all that Lessionia could see was his lower torso and legs. Lessionia wanted to know what his face looked his face looked like. Now that the kids had gone she would be able to stop the mysterious man. Who was he and what right did he have to order an angel around?
The house was crushed in a matter of minutes. The animals fled in the forest.
“Lessionia, have you’ve forgotten our agreement?” he asked.
“I searched for forty years and found no trace of Garados,”
“So, that doesn’t mean tha you stop looking for him,”
“I wasn’t going to search for him my entire life,”
“Angels live forever Lessionia. You have endless time to look for him,”
“We pardon me for wanting to forget that part of my life. And is it so terrible to want to have a family?”
“Yes, but now you forfit Kel for not giving me Garados. I gave you back tthe crystals and the elixer for Garados,”
“The elixer didn’t work,”
“Was it my fault that you were late Lessionia? If I didn’t give you the elixer then Gebri would have died. I saved his life,”
“Gebri was a monster. Maybe it might have been better if he died. Gardos would have been gone then too,”
“But it is all too late. Where is Kel?”
“Safe, and you will never find her,”
“No one can hid from me,”
“Kel is smart. She would sense who you are,”
“But who am I? Even you don’t know Lessionia,”
“The show yourself,”
“Not just yet,”
Three tigers charged at Lessionia. She used her angelic powers to rise above them. They jumped into the air trying to get her legs.
“Using angelic powers.Tsk, Tsk,” with a wave of his fingers Lessionia fell to the ground where the female tiger held down on Lessionia’s chest.
“Why do you fight for him?” Lessionia asked the tiger. Angels have the gift of tongues.
“Because we get fed,”
“Just hunt,”
“We can’t,” said the male.
“No one taught us,” the third implied.
“Well what are you waiting for!” shouted the strange man. “Kill her!”
“Will you teach us how to hunt?” asked the female again.
Lessionia nodded. The three tigers let her stand up.
“Don’t trust animals to do your bidding. They may only do it because they are hungry, but when given the opportunity, that can change,”
“ That may be true for tigers, but I have other who are more faithful,”
But in that instant, in a flash of light, Lessionia disapeard with the tigers.

more story

We were close to reaching the island of Zarkesh. The night before we were to land I had Garados’s block out in front of me. He was sulking on the inside, arms crossed, and back turned.
“Where is my mother?”I asked. Garados didn’t say anything. “Where is she?” I almost yelled, but Garadose stayed silent.
We got to Zarkesh the next morning. Getting off we headed towards the river. All the while, Garados’s block weighted down my heart, and I felt the eyes of the crew on my back, but what got me was the captain’s. I felt a pull on Garados’s block. The captain had been looking for a chance to ake Garados. I spun around glaring at the captain.
“If you want him come and get him,” The captain didn’t move but smiled maliciously. My friends stood ready to battle.
“You’re on Garados’s side,” The captain kept smiling. Then he pulled on the block, but it fel in the sand. Raising his arms he began to pull it again towards him, but I stopped it. A tug of wa had begun. Five of us against one of him. But soon it was to just be one on one. He over powered them and held them in balance.
“Who are you?” I yelled over the water.
“I’m a sea wizard Kel,”
“How do you know my name?”
“You’re part of my loins, my flesh. You’re my daughter Kel,”

My consentration was lost and my father had Garados.
“You will fail just like your mother did Kel. You will end up like her,”
“Why?” I said sith tears running down my face.
“I had and offer I couldn’t refuse,”
“Let me help you,” I pleaded with him, my face now wet with tears, “Give me Garados, please father,” But he just stared at me until his gaze brought me down to my knees. He had complete control over my body. I could no longer move. He began to close in.
“Tell your guardians to give me their crystals and no harm shall come to you,” a voice echoed in my head.
“Never,” I said
“So be it,” His grip tightened and I was lifted into the air. My friends could do nothing to help me.
“Lessionia, come out and save your flesh and blood,”
A light shown and down came my mother.
“I knew that you couldn’t just stand by and watch your daughter die,” my father said.
“You would kill your own ddaughter ust so you can rule over all. Do you think Garados will grant you this if you set him free. How can you be so blind. I may not be able to save you from evil, but Kel can. Release her or suffer the consequences of the almightly ones. Gebri, you know that I will do everything in my power to stop you. If our daughter is the key to do that, then I have no choice but to kill you,” my mother said.
Gebri stared at her, his grip on me still strong. Jess began to run towards me now that the spell was lifted from him, but my mother held him back. Gebri let me go, but turned onto my mother who vanished into the light.
“Remember daughter, you are safe for now, but sooner of later you will come to get Garados back. I will wait patiently, then snatch the stones, taking over the world along side my master,” his voice echoed in my head. Gebri’s ship sailed away leaving us watching on the beach. Jess put his arms around me as I watched the ship disapear. But I slid out of his arms and I walked up the beach to the river. My mother was on this island and she was the only one who could help us.
I was the first who saw my grandfather’s house ontop of the hill. His was the farthest from the village. Grandfather was slumped in his chair on the porch, sleeping. I went and kneeled at his feet and put my head into his lap. when I looked up, he was looking down at me.
“It seems the torch had been passed,” he said. The boys hung back on the front steps of the porch.
“You also brought the stray ones just like your mother,”
“Grandfather, where is she?”
“Can’t you feel her Kel? She’s in the wind and the mountains. Her pressance is strong here,” I slowly shook my head and looked down at his feet.
“He took your powers didn’t he?” I heard a gasp from one of the boys. Grandfather lifted up my face so my eyes were level to his. Then he looked at my crystal which was dull in color. A tear rolled down my face.
“Oh love,” and he embraced me. I silently cried. “You are tired. Come and rest inside. “Well you too,” he said when my friend hung back, “ I’m not going to bite,”

Oh Lucie, I wrote more story for you.

Jess and I became singers. Kalob played the lute, Mathyus played the flute and Griffen took care of all our belongings. He was so pleased. (he,he) It wasn’t my fault that he refused to play an instrument, so he became the manager and that is what they do.
“How much farther?” asked Kalob who was frantically learning how to play the lute, and quite frankly he was freaking out.
“Not much farther,” I said back to him, “why?”
“You know perfectly well that I can’t play this instrument,” I giggled. “It isn’t funny,” he said.
“Try this,” I said as I walked back to him handing him a vial. “It will allow you to play the instrument without failing perfection. It will be as if youo have playing since you were a child,”
“Will this really work,” he said doubtful.
“That’s what my mother said,” Kalob took the vial and drank a drop. “Now try playing,” I encouraged him. Kalob took up the lute and he began to play like a songbird.
“Thanks Kel,”
Walking to the sea took many days and many nights of sore, swollen feet, and festering blisters which were easily cured with Jess’s plant herbs. We walked through the valleys, hills, swamps, and forests. But within five days we arrived and the coast and just in view was the port where we would be getting onto a boat.
It was a crowed. The port was like a bowl and the people inside were the soup spilling over. Hollaring was heard throughout as wares were trying to be sold. Chamber pots were being spilled out of windows splattering anyone who got too close. Animals, carts, and people were creating such a ruckus.
“We need to find the ship that is going to Zarkesh,” shouted Jess over the noise.

“I found a ship,” said Griffen using his powers. “We need to get to the fifth dock by noon,” That was easier said then done. The pushing of people and animals, not to mention watching your feet so that you don’t step in something disgusting, made us late for boarding. Once there, we showed the captain our passes and went aboard.
Our room were very small. The boys shared a room next to mine. When we were settled, all five of us went up onto the deck.
It was only later that I noticed that the crew was acting a bit strange. They tried not to watch as I passed them, but their whole process slowed down.
“Something is going on,” I whispeard to Jess. He didn’t believe me or any of the other guys.
I was warry of using my magic, and I found myself doing thing manually. But it wasn’t until I caught a rat in my room that I found out about the whole truth.
“Please don’t tell the captain that you found me. I would be flogger for sure if found out I got caught when I was told to stay out of sight,”
“The captain told you to spy on me, but why?”
“I don’t know. He just siad that I I watched you, that I would be given more money when everyoe got paid,”
“I’ll keep your secret. Let us continue as we were. Keep spying on me and going back to the captain. If he says anything of value, give me a heads up, agreed,”
“Agreed,” he said still standing in the room.
“Oh all right. I’ll give you something for now, but don’t expect something everytime. I’m not made of money you know. I’m just a simple musician,” I said handing him a coin.
That night I told the guys, under a spell of silence, what was happening.
“But what would the captain want with us?” asked Kalob.
“He must know something about us, but what could it be?” Jess asked.
“Shh, I hear footsteps outside,” I said quietly. They came by the door pausing for a second and then resuming their walk.
“Now we know that we need to keep on out toes,” said Griffen.

Winnie and Jesse

Jesse Tuck

Jonathan Jackson

Tuck Everlasting

I just watched Tuck Everlasting and even though I have seen it about five times, I still get very emotional. But that is what usually happens to me when I watch a love story. I was screaming to the tv when the colonel mustard was coming to destory the beautiful happiness of Jesse and Winnie. Why can't people just butt out of other peoples lives. The stink pots have to ruin everything and it isn't fair. But I suppose that if the stink pots weren't there, then their wouldn't be a story. I wish that all love stories could end happily. But then that would get boring. Katherine is over and is making me laugh while writing this. She is driving me crazy like usual, which is great.
