Sick for 48 hours

I got sick this week. Woopie for me. But now I feel much better thanks to soup and hot totties. Tomorrow I will actually be able to go to school without feeling gross. Horrah. I can't think of anything else to type up for now, so I will write later when I do.

No BBc America, Fooey!

The most remotely interesting thing that happened today was mowing the lawn, psy homework, which in some parts of the chapter, I did find fun to read, mythology, and picking up sticks in the lawn.

I saw Brokeback mountain which made me cry because it touched my heart, I also watch episodes one, two, and three of Daniel Dandonda. I really liked that, now I just have to wait for the library to get the next set. I wish that we had the british broadcasting channel all the time and not just on saturday nights. But we don't have cabel, so fooey.

I got an 80 inn my psy class and probably an A in spanish today. I am throughly thrilled. Horses was okay to today. I jumped a bunch of jumps in a row. it is called gymnastics. I went over a crossrail and then a rail along the grround, another crossrail, and a rail along the ground, but they are so close together that you have to stay in two point the whole time. It is interesting and fun.
I do have a story that I am working on, but I am hesitant to type it because of a few negative things that I wrote about. It is more of the stories that is a girl story. But maybe I will put one of my other ones on here when I get a chance. I have quite a few, though I will have to find one that I don't mind sharing. Some are just too deep for me to share with the world yet.

Contolling Powers

"No, don't hurt him," I screamed. It was only the golden chains holding me back. They had Jude paralized on the floor. No sign of life could be seen. I strained on my chaind that held me to the wall.
"Give us the amulet and he shall live,"
"He had nothing to do with it,"
"Anyone who entwins their life with yours is involved," a moan escaped from Jude's lips.
The chains extended enough just about to the place where I was able to touch his arm. His arms which held me the night before were ridgily out.
"Jude," I screamed.
"He cannot hear you because to him, at this moment in time, you do not exist,"
The tears rushed. If I give up the amulet, then the whole world would fall into chaos, but if I didn't my heart would be broken.
"I'll give you the amulet," I said quietly, but everyone heard. The gold chains fell and I flung the amulet away and ran to Jude. Tears continued to fall. When Jude realized what I did, he held onto me. They did'n't pay attention to us. All they could think about was contolling the world.


It seems like mostly everyone wants to control the world, at least in the good and evil books. They want to have that power over all. It is as if they don't have all of that power they would fall off the face of the earth. The power they crave they can only have with complete and total domination. What type of person would want to do that to a group of people? Why would they? They would have to be pretty sick in the head to want that. The chunk of story that I wrote came to me one night after I had watched a movie and it made me realize that there are many movies and books about real people who would do that. And consequently in the end made me sad to know that such people exist or existed.

Study Blues

Today I studied all day long. I seriously don't know if I learned anything because there was just so much info that I had to read about. I read from nine thirty to eight fifteen this evening stoping only for breaks in between and dinner. Right now I feel as though my head would explode. I still haven't done all the work. I have spanish left to do, but I have an hour to do that before my class tomorrow. It is just review anyway. Good thing that on Wednesday and Fridays I am done at two so that I can go home and do whatever I want. It will only be on Mondays with that acursed lab in my physical geography that I will be at school till five.

First Day Nerves

Today was the first day of school and I haven't finished it yet, I have one more class left before I can home. Hopefully it is the only class that I have to write a paper. None of my other classes have papers in them. Maybe it won't be that many. I just hope that I understand everything that I read.

Durand Eastman Park

About a half an hour ago, we got back from Durand Eastman Park. We went on a hike around the Eastman Lake and saw swans and ducks with their babies, herons, huge spiders, and lots of mushrooms. One was bright orange. I thought tha they looked neat.

Tomorrow is my last day of freedom, and then on wednesday, I have to get up at 6:30 so that I can get to my 8:00 class. I want to get there early so that I can go to the book store and get myy last book for my Mythology class. It wasn't ther ethe last time that I was there, so now I have to get it when everyone else is there. I hope that I get to see my friends there in between classes. Well I know that I get to see Leah in my science and spanish class, but I also get to see Sara in my spanish class as well. Maybe I will see other peole that I have seen in my previous classes.

I think that I will go to the library tomorrow because I want to get more books and movies. I am going to be a bit bummed out because I won't be able to read as many books as I normally have done this summer because I have all of this school stuff to read. But I suppose that the only good thing about going to school is that I get to see my friends, my tv shows are back on, I get to sing for church, and I get to ride horses on fridays.
